1 YSL Touche Éclat Le Teint Radiance Awakening Foundation $58
I'm pretty behind the times when it comes to Western foundation because I've spent the last two years hoarding discovering Korean BB creams. I realised last year when I had a rare evening of leaving the house planned that I didn't actually own anything that could provide medium to full coverage with no danger of flashback (a side effect of high SPF in BB creams). I power walked to my local department store (which is dangerously close to my house, just one mile in fact so it's a miracle I'm not destitute), marched up to the YSL counter and shouted "Paint me, bitch!" OK so I didn't actually say that but now I'm telling the story we can totally apply artistic license to liven it up. The sales assistant was surprisingly but refreshingly super friendly and gave me a pretty sizable sample of Le Teint Touche Éclat which I'm still using months later like the tightwad that I am. Just as I planned to purchase the full size I discovered a new reformulated version of that foundation is going to release this year! So I'll be going back soon to try out the reformulated version and thus embark on the inner turmoil train of which do I buy.
